The NJP Blogs

In this section, we present an ever-growing collection of brief articles, essays, poetry, news, recipes, and more—all contributed by our members.

These blogs represent each individual writer's viewpoint. Please keep that in mind as you read and comment. Feel free to disagree, but be respectful of differences.

Note to members: You can start your own blog here, in the "Window Into My World" section. (Please don't start new blogs in any of the other categories.) Instead of or in addition to your own blog, you can also contribute to almost all of the blogs listed below as a guest blogger.

Before starting your own blog, or if you're interested in being a guest blogger in one or more of the categories listed below, please contact Yael for guidelines. It's easy to get started. This section needs YOU!

New Q&A feature with Mayim Bialik

Monday, January 16th 2012 @ 3:04 AM

I am excited to announce that Natural Jewish Parenting and our sister site, Room613, will be hosting a new feature with actress and mom Mayim Bialik, PhD. Mayim will be answering readers' questions about Jewish parenting and Jewish homeschooling.

Last month, just before Chanukah, Mayim gave a great talk in the Room613 virtual classroom, in which she discussed her formative food experiences growing up and her journey into observant Judaism. If you missed the class, you can still access the complete archived recording (with video).

We're delighted that Mayim will be continuing to share her thoughts and experiences with NJP and Room613 members through her new Q&A column.

To submit your own question for Mayim, go to the new Ask Mayim page.

This will be fun! Enjoy!
